    Gerald Quigley is a Community Pharmacist and Master Herbalist with skills in the integration of complementary medicines with prescribed medicines. Gerald is a health commentator in Melbourne, where he discusses health options and gives guidance in health decisions. He is often sought for comment on news channels and is a regular host on House of Wellness radio across Australia each Sunday morning, as well as a regular weekly guest on House of Wellness Television on the Seven Network, and is a contributor to a wide variety of health and pharmacy publications.

      Research Insights - Risk factors for cognitive decline and the potential for interventions

      Presented by Associate Professor Matthew Pase

       

      Matthew Pase is an Associate Professor at the Turner Institute at Monash University and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his Ph.D. on vascular contributions to cognitive aging before undertaking postdoctoral training at the Framingham Heart Study and Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Pase’s research uses large cohort studies to advanced understanding of modifiable risk and protective factors for dementia, particularly with respect to vascular risk factors, sleep, and diet. He is also involved in the validation of non-invasive biomarkers for vascular cognitive impairment and dementia.
