Flordis Natural Medicines is an Australian company solely dedicated to bringing practitioners the very best natural medicines from around the world. Our team of practitioners and professionals shares a wealth of experience both in the herbal medicine and pharmaceutical industries in Australia and abroad, as well as in research, marketing and education.
Flordis is actively involved with industry associations such as the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA).
Flordis provides best-evidenced natural health solutions which are backed by the latest modern medical science and knowledge about herbs and other natural medicines.

Craig Weller - Managing Director
Craig has worked in the health industry for 20 years, starting his career as a Nutritionist, then joining the multinational pharmaceutical company Abbott, first in sales in their hospital/nutritional products area and then in Sales Management, Product and Marketing Management and then as Commercial Manager for their Speciality products. After 10 years with Abbott, he moved to Actelion Pharmaceuticals as Sales Director and then Regional Marketing Director Asia Pacific. Following 3 years with Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Craig joined Law of the Jungle Pty Limited - a company providing regulatory compliance software solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. Craig has a Master of Business (Marketing), a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Physiology).
Greg Ambler– Operations
Greg is a Pharmacist and an experienced pharmacy educator and medicine marketer. He joined the Flordis team in 2000. Having seen the downsides of synthetic medicines and the huge potential benefits of best-evidenced natural medicines, Greg is passionate about the rights of patients to the best choices for their health. As a health professional himself, Greg is committed to the value of high standards of professional advice to guide treatment choices. Greg sits on the Board of Flordis and is responsible for Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing & Logistics and educational support for pharmacists in Australia.
Michelle Boyd – Professional Education
Michelle is a herbalist and lecturer in herbal medicine and integrated pharmacology. She joined the Flordis team in 2005. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine), a Graduate Certificate in Education and is currently studying her Masters in Western Herbal Medicine. Michelle feels that her purpose in life is to help improve the health of others through educational support for patients, students and peers. Michelle has a strong ethical belief in only prescribing the best quality products developed from innovative research that appreciates and builds on traditional use. Michelle is responsible for professional education at Flordis.
Karen Latter- Marketing Manager
Karen Latter is the Flordis Marketing Manager. Karen's role is to take care of marketing activities and Patient Support Programmes with the aim of creating more business for our Flordis prescribing practitioners. She has extensive experience in media and corporate communications working in both the UK and Australia. Additionally she is a practicing Naturopath and Nutritionist, and has been working in the natural health industry for the last seven years. Karen has an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, Diploma in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine.
Lauren Lacey- Sales Manager- Practitioner
Lauren is a qualified Naturopath whose passion is to see natural medicines expand to a position where they can be offered to all people through government recognition and the highest quality phytomedicines available through evidence-based research. Lauren began her love of nutrition in 1998 when she completed her first full marathon and then went on to graduate with a health science degree in Nutritional Medicine and Phytotherapy. She has also completed a Masters in Marketing. Lauren has travelled to USA, Canada, China, India and Sri Lanka to learn cultural traditions of natural therapies and has applied these methods to her own life and when educating both patients and practitioners.
Nicole Mooney- Practitioner Sales Support
Nicole first started working on the project which became Flordis in 1998. She contributed to the market research, office set-up and administration involved in establishing the company. In more recent years, Nicole moved into the accounts area within Flordis. Here she stayed until her recent move into the practitioner sales team. In her new role, Nicole's main responsibility is to support the Practitioner Sales Manager and all practitioner accounts.
Annette Phillips – Finance
Annette is a Certified Practicing Accountant and joined Flordis in 2009. Annette is from an accounting background in audit and financial markets. With a personal interest in the use of natural therapies and herbal medicines, she now works with the Financial Controller to manage the company accounts and customer data.
Penny Janson- Financial Controller
Penny is a Certified Practicing Accountant who joined Flordis in January 2009 as Financial Controller. Her background is in the pharmaceutical industry. Her role as Financial Controller is to oversee the accounting details, prepare internal and external reports and other accounting projects.
Andrea Zangara – International Business Development
Andrea is a psychologist expert in the neuropharmacology and effects on performance of natural products and complementary medicine. While working in UK between 2000 and 2008, Andrea gained experience in clinical investigations of herbal remedies and validation of health claims, an area where he collaborated with many International industrial and academic partners. Andrea has published several journal articles on herbal supplements and memory, and a book on Health, Diet and Food Supplements (in Italian). Andrea joined Flordis in 2008 as Flordis International Business Development Manager, and he is involved with the launch and development of new products and relationship with international partners.
Diana Dizon - Operations Coordinator
Diana joined Flordis from a media relations and education background. She takes care of the two essential and vastly different roles in the company. Diana is responsible for the company's logistical operations, overseeing the import and export of products, contract manufacture, local warehousing and out-bound logistics. She is also the creative design talent in the company and is responsible for the generation of artworks associated with sales and marketing campaigns.
Angela Reynolds- Administration
Angela joined Flordis in late 2009 from a corporate administration background. Angela looks after order processing and all aspects of office administration and client service. She has a passionate interest in natural medicines and is currently studying to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine.
