Our team of practitioners and professionals shares a wealth of experience both in the herbal medicine and pharmaceutical industries in Australia and abroad, as well as in research, marketing and education.

Flordis is actively involved with industry associations such as the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA).

Nigel Pollard – Corporate

Nigel is a Biochemist and Chartered Marketer who developed a personal interest in clinically proven herbal medicines while living in Germany between 1994 and 1998. On arrival in Australia in 1998, Nigel found the best evidence products available in Germany were basically unknown here and began the process to secure access to the products and launch the company which is now known as Flordis. Nigel is Managing Director of Flordis, and a Director of Flordis South Africa. He sits on the Advisory Board of CompleMED at the University of Western Sydney (the location of the National Institute of Complementary Medicine NICM).

Greg Ambler– Operations

Greg is a Pharmacist and experienced pharmacy educator and medicine marketer. He joined the Flordis team in 2000. Having seen the downsides of synthetic medicines and the huge potential benefits of best evidence natural medicines, Greg is passionate about the rights of patients to the best choices for their health. As a health professional himself Greg is committed to the value of high standards of professional advice to guide treatment choices. Greg sits on the Board of Flordis and is responsible for Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing & Logistics and educational support for pharmacists in Australia.

Michelle Boyd – Professional Education

Michelle is a herbalist and lecturer in herbal medicine and integrated pharmacology. She joined the Flordis team in 2005. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine), a Graduate Certificate in Education and is currently studying her Masters in Western Herbal Medicine. Michelle feels that her purpose in life is to help improve the health of others through educational support for patients, students and peers. Michelle has a strong ethical belief in only prescribing the best quality products developed from innovative research that appreciates and builds on traditional use. Michelle is responsible for professional education at Flordis.

Elizabeth Greenwood- Key Accounts Manager

Elizabeth is a naturopath, holding an Advanced Diploma of Health Science in Naturopathy and currently studying her Masters of Herbal Medicine at the University of Sydney. Elizabeth joined Flordis in March 2008 with 15 years of experience in the natural medicine industry. She has worked for many prominent industry companies as well as running her own business and practicing naturopathy. Elizabeth’s role is to support the Flordis key accounts in Australia and New Zealand which includes technical / sales support and educational activities. She is active in the strategic planning of the whole business.

Karen Latter- Marketing Manager

Karen Latter is the Flordis Marketing Manager. Karen's role is to take care of marketing activities and Patient Support Programmes with the aim of creating more business for our Flordis prescribing practitioners. She has extensive experience in media and corporate communications working in both the UK and Australia. Additionally she is a practicing Naturopath and Nutritionist and has been working in the natural health industry for the last seven years. Karen has an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, Diploma in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine.

Louise Jourdan- Patient Support Programmes

Louise is a qualified naturopath, holding a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine as well as an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy. Louise joined the Flordis team in 2008 to oversee the running and development of Flordis Patient Support Programmes.

Andrea Zangara – International Business Development

Andrea is a psychologist expert in the neuropharmacology and effects on performance of natural products and complementary medicine.
While working in UK between 2000 and 2008 Andrea gained experience in clinical investigations of herbal remedies and validation of health claims, an area where he collaborated with many International industrial and academic partners. Andrea has published several journal articles on herbal supplements and memory, and a book on Health, Diet and Food Supplements (in Italian).
Andrea joined Flordis in 2008 as Flordis International Business Development Manager, and he is involved with launch and development of new products and relationship with International partners.

Nicole Mooney – Accounts

Nicole first started working on the project which became Flordis in 1998. She contributed to the market research, office set-up and administration involved in establishing the company and now manages the company accounts and customer data.

Diana Dizon - Administration

Diana joined Flordis from a media relations and education background. Diana looks after order processing and all aspects of office administration.She also does artwork generation for Patient Support Programmes, monthly newsletters and other marketing campaigns.
