Femular
Femular (Ze 450) is a clinically proven, 1 tablet a day, herbal treatment for women who need relief from menopausal symptoms.
Femular is produced by the Swiss company Zeller and contains a special clinically trialled extract of Cimicifuga racemosa (Ze 450). In clinical trials Femular has been shown to significantly improve the symptoms experienced during menopause e.g. sweats and flushing. It does not have an oestrogenic effect and can be taken as an alternative to HRT when menopausal women require effective relief but without the concerns of taking HRT.

How to use Femular
What Femular tablets are used for
Femular tablets are recommended for the relief of menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, sweating, sleep disorders and nervous irritability.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to Black cohosh or to any of the tablet ingredients.
How to take Femular tablets
Femular tablets are taken one tablet daily.
The onset of action can be expected within 2-4 weeks with a maximal effect felt within 3 months. There is no restriction on the duration of treatment. If symptoms persist, medical advice should be sought.
Special warnings and precautions for use
None required. Femular is only used by women with menopausal symptoms, it is not intended to be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects
Occasional gastrointestinal disturbances have been reported.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.

In most instances 1 tablet a day should manage the symptoms, however in more severe cases, 2 Femular tablets can be taken per day. This should be discussed with your health care professional.
