What is Agiofibe?
Agiofibe is a specially formulated ratio of natural dietary fibres made from the seeds and husks of psyllium (plantago ovata and Ispaghula husks) in granules. It is specially formulated to match the the fibre content of a normal varied diet and the granules are coated to aid swallowing, and avoid breathing in any psyllium dust.
How do I use Agiofibe?
Each teaspoonful of Agiofibe is approximately 5g of dietary fibre (with a ratio of: insoluble 60% to soluble 40%). The adult dose is 1 to 2 rounded teaspoonfuls of granule taken in the evening followed by a glass of water. The dose can be reduced for children. Agiofibe granules should be swallowed whole, or mixed with yoghurt.
